[Lulu chills out on her special day]
Today marks Lulu's one-year anniversary as a tripod. I cannot believe it's already been a year, though at the same time I can't believe it's only been a year. For instance, when I see photos of Lulu with four legs I think she looks weird. Funny how we all get accustomed to change.
On a more serious note, I can't believe we've made it to a year. I mean, I'm not surprised since Lulu is the toughest bitch to set three legs on the ground, but osteosarcoma doesn't have the best track record. I feel very lucky to still be able to spend my days with this little lady.
To another year! And another shirt! I recently got our new cat design from Amanda Vissel, a wickedly talented illustrator. You guys are going to die when you see this logo. I just wanted to eat it up. The shirts are getting to the printer in the next week or two (they're back ordered), which means I should have cat shirts by mid- September. They'll be printed on a light heather blue this time around, which you can see here in the photos at the bottom of the page. Stay tuned!

Hi Lulu,
My name is Sierra. I am a 12 year old Lab and I'm an amputee too! I had a cancer tumor on my back leg. My owner had the leg amputated back in February 2006.
It isn't easy walking around with 3 legs especially now that I have arthritis. But, I do the best I can.
Happy New Year!
